Senior Applications Engineer
Luminescent Technologies, Inc. is at a significant stage in its growth as a start-up and has an immediate opening for a Sr. Applications Engineer. In addition to being the leader in the Computational Lithography Industry, the company has expanded its core Inverse Lithography (ILT) technology to develop products focused towards solving Computational Inspection, Metrology, and Repair challenges for 32nm technology nodes and below. An Application Engineer in this role will have the unique opportunity to work with top-notch mathematicians, software developers, customers and develop and deliver technology-enabling products.
Responsibilities:
-
- Understand, rationalize and negotiate product specifications with customers, and integrate requirements for software application developers
- Constantly test and analyze results of updates made to applications
- Work closely with developers to ensure customer specifications are met in timely manner
- Develop process/data flows and establish BKMs (best known methods) that enable successfully meeting customer requirements and train fellow AEs
- Domestic and international travel will be required to support customers
Qualifications:

- MS or PhD in optics, physics, materials or electrical engineering
- Background in development and implementation of mask and/or wafer inspection, metrology, and/or photo-lithography technologies into production is highly desirable
- 2-10 years experience in semiconductor industry is desirable
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux, lithography simulation software (Prolith, Panoramic, Solid, etc.), and Matlab is desirable
- Fluency in Mandarin, and/or Japanese and/or Korean is a plus
Software Engineer

Requirements:

Software Developer, Qt GUI on Linux

Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain Qt GUI on Linux as member of a fast-paced, high-performing, core team. Responsible for configuration input, plotting/sorting of data, monitoring distributed processing, integrating with IC layout viewer/editor. Depending on individual candidate's knowledge base and learning capability, future job responsibility could expand into non-GUI-related software development work. Users of our Inverse Lithography Technology (ILT) software products include top-tier semiconductor IC chip makers of the world.
